All puppies begin their journey from the nearest airport to our location using trusted, pet-friendly transportation methods that meet airline-approved standards.

Your Maltese puppy will always travel in a secure, climate-controlled cabin area inside an airline-approved crate—never with passenger luggage.

Before the Journey

Before your Maltese puppy travels, you will receive all important details to make the pickup process smooth and easy, including:

Health Certificate:

At Maltese Puppies Rehoming, every Maltese puppy traveling by air is required to have a valid health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian. This confirms that the puppy is healthy, fit for travel, and safe for transport alongside other animals. Please note that this certificate is mandatory for all airline travel.

Puppy Pick-Up Instructions

Please be prepared to collect your Maltese puppy either at your home (if using a delivery nanny service) or at the airport at the scheduled arrival time. Puppies are typically ready for pickup approximately one hour after landing.

A valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license, will be required when collecting your puppy.

We kindly request that you notify us by call or email once your Maltese puppy has safely arrived, so we can confirm they are home with you and doing well.

After Arrival Care

We recommend scheduling a routine veterinary check-up within 48 hours of your Maltese puppy’s arrival. This helps ensure your puppy is in excellent health and begins a strong, healthy relationship with your local veterinarian.

Within 24 hours of arrival, we will also follow up with you to make sure everything has gone smoothly, answer any questions, and confirm that your Maltese puppy has settled in comfortably.
